Privacy policy

Short version: the only thing this site collects is your email address, and only if you sign up to be notified when a pack ships. That's it. No analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts that follow you around.

What I collect

When you submit the “Notify me when it ships” form on an upcoming pack page, the site stores:

• The email address you entered.
• Which pack you signed up for.
• A partially-truncated IP address (the last segment is replaced with .x) and your browser's user-agent string, so I can keep the form from being abused.
• The timestamp of the signup.

The contact and feedback forms also let you optionally include a name and email so I can reply. Both fields are optional. If you leave them blank, I can't reply, but the message still reaches me.

What I do with it

When the pack you signed up for is released, you get a single email letting you know it's available. No newsletter. No marketing follow-ups. No “related products” emails. After the launch email goes out, the signup has done its job.

Where it lives

Signups and feedback are stored in Google Firestore, a managed database operated by Google. Google processes the data for storage under their own privacy terms. I don't use any analytics service, advertising network, or third-party tracker on the site itself. The launch email — when it goes out — will be sent through a standard transactional email service, and the specific provider will be named here once that's wired up.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your email isn't sold, shared, traded, rented, or handed to partners. I don't have partners. The only humans who see the signup list are me and anyone I might later add as a maintainer, and only for the purpose of sending the launch email.

How long I keep it

Until the pack ships and the launch email is sent, plus a short window after that in case the email bounces and needs a retry. After that, your signup is deleted.

Getting your data removed

Email support@launchpadgd.com from the address you signed up with and ask to be removed. I'll delete the row and reply when it's done, usually within a couple of days. You can also ask for a copy of whatever data the site holds about you, same address.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies. Your browser may store a theme preference and locale choice in localStorage, but that never leaves your machine.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13. If you're a parent and believe your child signed up, email me at the address above and I'll remove the entry.

Changes

If I ever start collecting something new, this page gets updated before that change ships, and the “Last updated” date at the top changes too. If the change is material (something other than a wording fix), I'll email anyone with an active signup before applying it.
