Terms of service
Last updated 2026-05-13
This page covers the rules for using LaunchpadGD (the website you're reading). Plain English, no surprises. By using the site you're agreeing to what's below.
What this site is
LaunchpadGD is a marketing and documentation site for a series of Godot 4 asset packs. The site lists what's available, shows roadmap and changelog notes, hosts the docs, and lets you sign up for an email when an upcoming pack ships.
How purchases work
When the packs go on sale, purchases will be handled by a third-party storefront (payment processing, refunds, and download delivery all live there, under that storefront's own terms of service). This site doesn't process payments and doesn't see your card details. The specific storefront will be linked from each pack page once everything is live.
What you can do with a pack
License terms are bundled with each pack. In broad strokes:
- Free and Pro tiers come with a personal-use license. You can use the code and assets in your own projects and prototypes.
- Studio tier includes a royalty-free commercial license. Make commercial games with it, sell them, keep the money.
- None of the tiers grant the right to resell the pack itself or redistribute the source as your own asset pack.
The exact license text shipped with each pack is the binding version. If something in this summary contradicts the bundled license, the bundled license wins.
Launch notifications
When you sign up via the “Notify me when it ships” form, you're asking for a single email when that pack is released. That's the only message you'll get. You can ask to be removed from the list at any time. See the privacy policy for the full data picture.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Sign other people up for notifications without their permission.
- Try to break, probe, or overwhelm the site's infrastructure.
- Scrape the docs or content at a rate that'd trip anyone's common-sense threshold.
- Use the contact or feedback forms to send abuse, spam, or anything illegal.
Content as-is
The site, the docs, and the roadmap are provided as-is. Information here is accurate to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing, but plans change, code has bugs, and timelines slip. The roadmap in particular is a statement of intent, not a contract.
Liability
Within the limits of applicable law, LaunchpadGD isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using this site. Your statutory consumer rights still apply where they apply.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the “Last updated” date at the top changes too. For material changes (anything beyond a typo or wording fix), there'll be a notice on the homepage for a reasonable window before the new terms take effect.
